Year 1 had a fantastic time on their trip to Wharton Park! The children enjoyed exploring the outdoors and taking part in a range of exciting nature-based activities.
We began with a nature walk, where the children looked closely at their surroundings and enjoyed discovering what they could find. They then took part in a tree hunt, identifying different trees and exploring the variety of seeds they produce.
The children also used their creativity to make wonderful nature creations using natural objects they found along the way. It was fantastic to see them using their imagination and working together.
To finish our visit, we enjoyed some time playing in the park, followed by an observational walk, taking in everything around us and noticing the small details in nature.
A huge well done to all of Year 1 for their exceptional behaviour throughout the trip. They were polite, enthusiastic, curious and a real credit to the school. Well done, Year 1! ⭐
