What a fabulous way to start a new week with a visit to the wonderful Durham Cathedral. We started the day with a guided tour of the Cathedral. A real highlight for everyone was seeing the tomb of St Cuthbert.
After lunch (the part of the day a lot of us were looking forward to!) we became actors and retold the story of St Cuthbert’s life. Using props and costumes the story really came to life. We didn’t realise what fabulous actors and actresses we had in Year 2. All in all, we had a wonderful day. Has your child told you their favourite part of the day?
